Nanna's visit

Sara always looks forward to Nanna's visits.  She particularly loved it when Nanna took her to swimming lessons this time.  They spent lots of special time together, reading, playing, and drawing. Nanna got Sara a spirograph and fun gel pens that she really liked drawing with.

Also, we managed to make it to the new Children's museum here. I'm really glad we went when we did, it was already crowded and school wasn't even out yet.   Either way, the kids had a lot of fun!

We also made it to the new Aquarium!  It was fantastic.

And the Springville Art Museum!
The kids always enjoy having their Nanna, they were sad when she left.

Graduated

Sara just graduated from Kindergarten and has started her Summer.  Her school made a big deal of the end of her Kindergarten year.  She participated in a recital program where she and all the other kindergartners had to learn 5 songs about Bears to sing for all the parents.  She said she was very nervous.

Also, we got a large binder with all her school work she did for the whole year which was cool to flip through and see how much she improved.  Lastly, she had a photo taken of a mock-graduation photo that was really cute.  You are supposed to put that photo next to their real graduation photo from High School someday.

Sara is excited for summer but sad that she is not going to class, she says she will miss her teacher.  We still plan on having a fun summer.   She is taking piano lessons, and going to music camp for a week.  Also, she is trying out for the swim team on Tuesday.  If she makes it, it will mean a busy summer of lots of swimming.  If not, we will still hope to have her swimming lots at various community pools and splash pads.

She also has an end-of-the-year piano recital coming up that she's getting ready for.  She still has a few weeks but is doing well at memorizing her songs.

I can't believe she will be in 1st grade next year.  I wish I could just freeze this summer and she could be this age forever and not grow up any more.
