I'm One Year Old!

I know people in Barbados and Hawaii and Cali as well as Bama and Utah are waiting to see these so I did not want to disappoint. Munkey had a fantastic B'day. I had no idea how much fun a child's birthday party could be. It was fun for me just watching her have such a great time.

Dan worked all day cooking in the kitchen. He made her the best applesauce, raisin, and carrot cake. We also had chocolate chicken mole that was really tasty. Munkey was so thrilled with all her gifts and wants to thank everyone for coming to her shindig and celebrating her b'day with her.

Mom got her this cool little people farm, she really loves playing with it and hearing all the noises it makes. She can kind of do a rooster noise and a moo.

Here is a pic of me playing with my farm when I was little. I think that's why Mom got her this, to relive the memories:

The wrapping was almost as popular with Munkey as the presents were.

The cool presents.

Picture pages : a year in review

We can hardly believe that Sara will be one year old on Friday. We feel accomplished that we've kept her alive this far and she's thriving. She has added so much joy to our lives that it's immeasurable. I wanted to go back and compile some photos that show some of our favorite memories. This post will be long and I may do several more, we've done a lot in a year...

I wanted to put up the link to the video of her we took right after she was born. She looks totally helpless and chubby, she is definitely neither of those things now.

Here is our first picture together:
